Description

This composite image was captured over three nights.  The first night, I captured 30 minutes of comet data before the moon rose.  The next night, I captured more OSC data without the comet.  On the third night, I captured  OSC data with my Optolong L-eXtreme to enhance the Ha regions.   Combining all three data sets involved comet stacking and blending OSC along with dual band narrowband data.  The tedious and time consuming part was removing all the star streaks and blurred nebula from the stacked comet image using PixInsight's Clone Stamp.  While it took some trial and error, I finally arrived at the above image.
