Description

HM16 (Eagle Nebula, NGC6611) and M17 (Omega Nebula, NGC6618)

Here is M16 (The Eagle Nebula) and M17 (The Omega Nebula, also known as the Swan, the Checkmark, the Lobster, and the Horseshoe Nebula) the constellation Sagittarius. I shot these the past 2 months. The first sub I shot was 10 minutes that I used for Nico Carver single sub challenge.

This was the first image I processed using extracted OIII and SII data from my Askar D2 filter. Along with Ha and OIII data extracted from Antlia ALP-T filter. Ended up with some nice SII data. Shot the Askar subs around the new moon in May. Broadband stars shot with L-Pro.
