This is a photo of the Astro La Vista Observatory which is located in the Williamson Valley area of Prescott, Az. Amateur astronomy is difficult and expensive. I have devoted much in the way of resources to get where I am in the hobby. The challenge of turning what is visually just a white fuzzy object into an attractive color photo is what makes it all worthwhile.
This is a hobby that has many facets. No one can become an expert in all of them. It is my greatest pleasure to get what comes into the big end of the telescope exported to my computer as a digital photo. The construction of an observatory gave me the opportunity to digitally capture many astronomical targets that would have been difficult or impossible to obtain any other way.
