Description

The Fishhead Nebula, aka IC 1795, is a bright emission nebula that lies on the edge of a large molecular cloud (called W3) about 6,000 light years away. Located at the tip of it's much larger and well-known neighbor Heart Nebula or IC 1805 (the edge of which can be seen in the lower left), IC 1795 is illuminated by young massive stars that can't be seen due to obscuring dust.

This is another target that I collected data for in the Fall but haven't found the time to process until recently.
