Description

I re-processed my spaghetti nebula which I took back in 2020.   That particular picture ended up in Sky, I had submitted it for an APOD that year. But I was never happy with how the stars came out.  They were over-exposed from photographing it at F/2.  This time around I used some of the newer techniques, namely using BlurXterminator to solve some of the over-exposure of the stars and bring out the nebula.  I also used some of the Topaz tools to help make the photo less noisy.  One thing of note is that I did not re-stack the data, I used the original stack and just did the post processing brand new.  I assume if I were to re-process everything I may be able to get even more out of it.

I can't believe how amazing these tools have gotten over just the past few years, it's truly remarkable.  Check out the original processing here.
