Description

I shot this data when I had my Celestron Edge HD / QHY814 setup . This is a 2 panel mosaic and I managed to get decent amount of L data. The stars were blobby and not good but there was good bit of dust. However, I couldn't get enough RGB data. I couldn't get enough RGB data, the stars were terrible and flats didn't work well.

I had saved the data off and forgot about it. But my current RCOS system is down pending a focus update so I figured I will try to reprocess saved data and salvage something out of it. I used selective rejection to get around subs that had flat failure (dust or filter had moved and it left 3d donuts). Star removal allowed better control (I could push the nebula before the stars completely fell apart).

This is the best I could manage out of the data but at least it processed

Total integration
Panel 1:
L = 36x15 minutes,
R/G/B =  8 x 10 minutes / channel

Panel 2:
L = 40 x 15 minutes
R/G/B = 6 x 10 minutes / channel
