Digging into the achives of Insight Observatory, I stumbled across a dataset from 2020 that I felt had potential and deserved a little more love. To my surprise, for even such a short integration this was one of the best data sets I've seen coming from a CCD. The image still has some 'tells' that clearly show it's CCD data, but beyond that, the 16" Dreamscope really produces some great images! The fatter pixels of the 16803 camera also do an amazing job of soaking up the photons. Unfortunately being fat also means that while the image is sharp, it also probably could have been sharper. For what it's worth though, I still think this is one of the better Witch Head images I've ever come across. Would you agree?
