Description

The Tarantula Nebula (also known as 30 Doradus) is a large H II region in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). Its distance is about 160,000 light-years and its diameter is between 648 and 1857 light years. It is the most active starburst region known in the Local Group of galaxies, and also one of the largest H II regions in these galaxies.

The images were captured in 2022, in Alto Paraiso, Goias, Brazil.

17 lights 300s, ISO 800, total integration time: 1 h 25 min. Camera Temperature 15 - 21 ºC. No calibration frames were applied.
