Description

I want to present you one of our first images taken with the newly installed remote telescope in Namibia.

The Tarantula Nebula, also known as 30 Doradus, is a large and prominent H II region located in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. It is one of the largest and most active star-forming regions in our local group of galaxies. The nebula is characterized by its dazzling array of massive stars, star clusters, and nebulous structures, creating a visually stunning cosmic tapestry. At the heart of the Tarantula Nebula lies the massive star cluster R136, home to some of the most massive stars known.
