Description

The Rosette Nebula (also known as Caldwell 49) is an emission nebula located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy. This image was processed from 43 exposures - each 180sec. It was shot with an STC Astro Duo-Narrowband filter in Ha and OIII.
