M63 is quite spectacular and accessible Spiral Galaxy for imaging. I tried imaging it in Y2022 with my C6 and wanted to revisit it in order to compare scopes and aperture.

In the beginning of April we got some nice weather here in Bulgaria + the Moon wasn't interfering so I was able to dedicate whole 3 nights. Imaging was a pleasure. I started to image on the 4th of April and concluded on the 9th in the morning. In the beginning of the sessions M63 was at 40 degrees above the horizon for my location and at sunrise - at 45 - so a perfect target for whole night imaging.

But I became really happy when I stacked the frames and saw the initial result - I love the new scope (which is almost a year now and not that new) which I got to for those kind of galaxies. I am super satisfied with the details that I managed to get from my terrace in the city.

Its size is 10.8x7.2 archmin
Diameter: 101.5 thousand lightyears
Visual magnitude: +8.52
It is situated 29 million light-years from us
My imaging resolution: 0.47 archseconds per pixel.
