Description

I had a few hours of clear sky and initially was planning on imaging SH2-212 but my neighbors tree was in the way.  So I decided to spend a little time on M57 and then go back to SH2-212, but when the time came, I was lazy and didn't want to go outside and change out the L-Pro filter for the L-Ultimate.  I won't have this problem when I have the ZWO filter wheel installed.  The filter wheel arrived yesterday, but I am waiting for the Optolong UV/IR cut filter to arrive.  I thought of imaging M45 again, but decided to spend the rest of my night on IC 353.  IC 353 is faint and processing was tough to bring out the nebulosity.  Anyway I think this image turned out pretty good.  I haven't been able to find much information on IC 353 other than what I have supplied below.

Discovered by E.E. Barnard in 1893.This vast diffuse reflection nebula lies just north-east of the famous Pleiades star cluster, and is probably physically connected to the Pleiades nebulosity. It is appropriately described in the first IC catalog, as "very faint, extremely large, very diffuse," from E.E. Barnard's discovery report (Barnard 1894). Its diameter is about 3 degrees.
