M63, The Sunflower Galaxy - very familiar galaxy also for astrophotographers. Galaxy FOV is relatively small if thinking that a lot of details can be captured from it, as well as from other very known glazies like Pinwheel and Whirlpool. That being said, with my native FOV (picture A) the picture needs to be cropped a lot in order to show a close up of it. And then obviously comes the processing as well as possible, but also have to think the actual resolution of the camera. I am quite happy with the processing. I was actually even able to capture the curved tidal stream(s) which is especially curving from the 'left' side of the galaxy 'upwards'. But I ended up just leaving a faint oval shaped faint dust around the galaxy. Visually it makes the whole a bit calmer, at least in my eyes. But maybe I will process later a more 'scientific' version.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
