Dear AstroBinners, I am a beginner in astrophotography, with some basic experience in planetary and DSO imaging/processing. The other day, I saw this gorgeous image of a comet, and that's when I decided I want to try imaging one. My question is very simple - are there any comets available for imaging right now? (I am located in the Northern Hemisphere) |

This is a good resource. http://www.aerith.net/index.html few worth mentioning are 1) 12P/Pons- Brooks - currently visible and best in March 2024 2) 13P/Olbers (In July) 3) C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan- ATLAS) - Magnitude 0 around mid-oct 2024 |
