Description

I have wanting to try lucky imaging on PN cores, - Wanted to use my ASI290MC-cool with the Edge14. However, the weather has been terrible with wind gusts and bad seeing this year in Austin. I figured I could try with my remote setup near Llano, Texas. It is setup for DSO with the QHY600m on the RCOS 12.5. I got firecapture loaded and used ROI mode to try and get some data.

With 2second subs at a gain of 75 (no darks), I was experimenting with some capture. The data is surprisingly interesting. with processing similar to Planetary (Stacked in Autostakker 3 with DSO setting - sigma clipping enabled), I stacked 80% of data and then ran it through Registax 6 and Deconvolution (with parametric PSF) in PI.  I was able to see at least some of the lobes in the core!.
