Description

The Small Sagittarius Star Cloud is a dense and bright star cloud in our Milky Way galaxy in the constellation Sagittarius. It is located in the Sagittarius-Carina arm of the Milky Way galaxy. The top-left corner of the image also contains an emission nebula (IC1283/84) and two reflection nebulae (bluish color). There are other numerous objects in this rich star field. This area is also a joy to observe in widefield through visual instruments.
