Description

There is so much going on in the Orion in general. Obviously we all know M42 The Great Orion Nebula, which is propably one of the first targets among the astrophotographers, at least on the northern hemisphere. But around it one can find all kinds of dark gas clouds and other nebulas. Just next to the M42 lies the NGC 1999, also known as The Pearl Nebula. This picture was quite hard to process, because of the bright star on the upper left corner. That star actually is Hatysa, also known as Iota Orionis, which is on the very edge of the M42 itself. One can actually see the edge of the M42 on the very very upper left corner on this picture. These kind of pictures are good in the sence that one can also check how the screen is showing it. The picture looks ok in Ipad and my LCD monitor, but looks very milky even on a good quality gaming monitor.
