Description

Haven't done much imaging lately with the shorter nights but couldn't resist the supernova in M101 as it transits at the perfect time for me. Setting up not the easiest job after a family evening down the pub though!
SN2023ixf has brightened really fast - I could easily have got away with shorter subs. It seemed too obvious so I checked the coordinates to be sure....
Pure mono for this one - by the time I got data for good drizzling stats I seriously needed to hit my pillow zzzzzzzzz

Basic photometry using ASTAP and the V50 star database showed a pretty convincing brightening trend even over such a short period - I might run the data through AstroimageJ or similar if I get enthusiastic!
