My third go at the Leo Triplet ! Starting to get some where, but still alot to do
This is my first proper attempt at combining one years data with the next. I have used 10 hrs 20 mins from April 21 an added a further 8 hrs 38.5 mins from this April to 18hrs 58.5 mins of data
Regstering and stacking the 2277 30 second frames took a very long time in Deep Sky Stacker !
I used Spectrophotometric colour calibration in Pixinsight again but this doesn't seem to be the magic bullet re colour calibration I was hoping for - one things it seems to be very temperamental, often failing to find a solution and on this occassion when it did it brought everything back as blue , so not much help. I must be doing something wrong somewhere ? any thoughts appreciated
So processing was challenging and sadly no sign yet of the "stream" comming off the hamburger galaxy - to much of a challenge in Bortle 7/8 it seems
Also plenty of horrible star halos from the ZWO filters , I have cleaned them up as best i could
But better than my last two attempts!
