Target Description:
The bright blue stars in this image constitute "Brocchi's Cluster." According to Wikipedia, this group of 10 bright blue stars are not gravitationally associated, nor are they all moving at the same rate in the same direction. They are not an actual "cluster," just an asterism. BTW, at various stages in processing, PixInsight counted well over 100,000 stars in this image.

Right in the center of this image is a yellow-orange star-like object. That is Sh2-83. (See the annotated image and Image D.) This small nebula appears to be an active star-forming area. It is mostly obscured behind the pervasive foreground nebula dominating the main image.

Processing Description:
This image was processed at half resolution. Although luminance data were available, they served only to distort the star point-spread function when combined with the RGB and were not used.
