Description

NGC 2841 is an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Ursa Major at a distance of 46 million light-years, stretching 130,000 ly across. It is often called a flocculent galaxy, explained here as "... meaning that its spiral arms are clumpy, or patchy in nature, rather similar to those of Messier 63". 

Image acquisition took place during two nights end of February. Approximately 5 h luminance and 5 h RGB data was collected.
