Description

Ok, it is done, or better I am done. This concludes the Sh2-240 project, my longest exposure astro image so far - about 21 hours altogether. My conclusion: under my bortle 6/7 sky I will not attempt to capture extremely weak O3 objects anymore. 10 hours of O3 subs went in, and hardly anything came out. The differences between signal to background are just too small, any attempt to stretch it further destroys the image ....

I still show it here as I spent an awful long time on this, but I am not 100% happy with the result.

120 x 5 min Ha

120 x 5 min O3

60 x 1 min for RGB

Workflow as usual with seperate processing of stars and nebula.
