Description

This is a much better second attempt at the somewhat underrated Pleiades cluster. My first attempt is objectively inferior. It was taken under Bortle 4/5 skies. This new one was taken from a Bortle 1/2 site and processed with a better know-how than I did a year or two ago. The brown dust seen off to the side and surrounding areas is an aspect that I have never seen before except in some of the best images of M45 that I only discovered the night I was shooting this. I'm glad to have picked up that reddish-brown dust signal this time around.

EDIT: The seeing was the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. The stars even up to 50 degrees altitude were like strobe lights. Absolutely intense atmospheric turbulence. As a result, the finest details of the nebula are blurred out.
