Description

I finally had a clear night after months of rain and solid cloud cover.
I have ZWO's AM5 strainwave mount and first impression is extremely satisfying.
Not having counterweights and zero balancing concerns is a great departure from the traditional setup of preparing for a night of imaging/observation.
I have the complete ZWO package of the AM5 mount, three different ZWO camers, ZWO guiding scope and ZWO's ASIAIR Plus.
It is absolutely wonderful to have a complete system that works flawlessly.
Everything connects to the mount and telescope. The only wire external to the setup is the power cord going to the power source.
I set back in complete comfort using my tablet to control and view the imaging session, whether its beside the telescope, in the house or our travel trailer.
I have set my two largest telescopes on it to test how it handled the 9.25 SCT and ES AR152 refractor. It had no issues with either telescope.

This was a quick test with my smaller SW 80ED of M104.  This is a post processed EAA capture.
when I have time I will manually stack and process all the fit files in Affinity 2.0
