Since I created this image of horse head nebula in 2018 (
https://www.astrobin.com/379923/), I wasn't satisfied with it at all. (But somehow TAK liked this picture and included it in its 2021 catalog to showcase TOA-150. Thank you, TAK!) In subsequent years, I tried to collect more exposures to make it deeper. My original goal was to double the integration, but I clearly exceeded this. This is a new version that includes exposures taken between 2016 and 2020. The integration time for each pixel exceeds 20 hr, almost quadrupling that of the 2018 image. The result is a much better rendition of the faint nebulas in this area.
Rev.B is a starless image with some minor enhancement, to show the faint, complex nebulosity everywhere in this area, which is hard to see with stars in the image. This is created with StarNeT++ V2, which works extremely well.
Rev.C (final) is the color that I typically like for this area, more balanced for R, G, and B. The original version has more blue. This color is what this area typically has when I process the whole Orion. Personally I prefer Rev.C, but the original is probably a more realistic rendition for this area.
