Description

I am sending my Epsilon out to New Mexico to enjoy some dark skies. I have been adjusting tilt and I I have almost got it where I want it. I pointed the Epsilon at the Pleiades last night and took some shots to test out the scope. This shot is 20x180s shot with my QHY600M SBFL. It has been calibrated (poorly) and stretched. I haven't processed the image any further.

I have always loved the Pleiades and plan on shooting this in much more detail once set up in New Mexico.

The master dark is over correcting in the corner thanks to a light leak on the photon cage. I have to retake my flats. I took them in the garage earlier in the week when it was cloudy and I had a light on apparently. I am getting a little bit of a light leak from the Photon Cage so I am going to install their o-ring they sent me and retake the flats. I'll have to readjust tilt once again when I install the o-ring however. So far, I am impressed with this scope!
