Description

I moved from Texas to Southern California months ago. My new backyard has more light pollution (LP) than Texas home. I selected the M3 Globular Cluster for my first DSO here, as it is one of the bright object. For the M3 processing, I tried only to remove the LP effects from the SharpCap livestack:
   - Narrowband LP filter (Triad Ultra)
   - PixInsight Background Neutralization module
   - PixInsight Automatic Background Extractor module
   - RC-Astro Noise XTerminator
   - RC-Astro StarXTerminator
   - Curves Transformation separately to the Starless and the Stars images

M3 (NGC 5272) is made up of around 500,000 stars. It is estimated to be 11.4 billion years old and located at 32,600 light-years away from Earth. (Source = Wikipedia)
