Description

No words or pictures can quite describe the feeling coming up on the totality and then totality itself. First the little eclipse shadow projections, the drop in temperature, the gradual decrease in brightness, the shadow-bands and finally totality. I got to experience 2:48 minutes of it in Maine but it still felt like it was only 30 seconds. I think even if it was 10 minutes long it would still feel 30 seconds.

I hope you also got the chance to experience totality first hand.
