This is not a frequenly-imaged part of sky, and maybe not aesthetically pleasing, but I am glad I spent some time here.
The FoV presented here is just a little north to the IC2177 - Seagull Nebula, and by the side of globular cluster M50. The bright emission/reflection nebula in the center of the frame is very close to LBN1022 based on plate solving results, but they don't quite overlap, and to my surprise there isn't a easily-found name matching this patch of nebula (there is a HII area called "G220.9-02.5" in this area, but I don't think it refers to this big nebula). A few big pieces here including the emission nebula SH2-291 to the upper right, and vdB87 to the lower left corner. If you hover on the image, plate-solving identifies a few other fun objects such as reflection nebulae NGC2316 and NGC 2313. There are also a few patches of dark clouds spreading around, and hazy dusts blend in the background
There are more to dig, and I highlighted a few interesting features in
this version. Near the upper left corner of the framing it is noticable that there exists a bubbly planetary nebula; Some research identifies it as G221.0-01.4. And right below the main object in the center, there are two small bright "Herbig-Haro" type of objects; I managed to find identification for one, but not the other.
Lastly, around the bright yellow star
BD-08 1628 I noticed some hazy stringy features which I don't think they are artifact, and also failed to find a name for it.
It's really a place full of hidden treasures. I hope you enjoy zooming in and panning around to explore. If anyone knows the names for the objects missing annotation, please let me know!
