Description

I tried new post-processing steps. First, I combined RGB in a conventional way, then mixed R, G, B, and UV proportionally to form the L channel (with a larger weight on UV), stretched it and used LHE (Local Histogram Equalization) to enhance the details. Finally, I incorporated this L channel back and maxed out the saturation using LRGBCombination. The main reason is that the current Venus doesn't show much detail in the visible light spectrum, looking like a glossy ball, but in the UV spectrum, it appears full of clouds.

Apparent diameter: 18.8 arcsec
