Description

SH2-308 is a bubble type nebula created by a Wolf-Ryatt type star in the constellation Canis Majoris.  It is thought that this star is in its pre super nova phase.  This beautiful nebula sits fairly low in the south for me, which is where the light dome of Boston sits, so it is a bit difficult for me to image.  I love trying to get this very dim target as it really challenges my growing knowledge of astrophotography, and processing skills.  I was only able to get 21 Five hundred second images before it dipped into the light dome.  So I am pretty happy with the result!  Clear Skies!
