Description

While the Rosette, and to a lesser extent, the Cone/Christmas Tree Cluster are the brightest objects in this FOV, it's the stuff in between that I find most interesting. This SNR is large, 220 arcminutes across; by comparison, the Spaghetti Nebula, also a SNR, is 180 arcminutes in expanse. The Ha captures much of the structure; OIII will be added as conditions permit, hopefully before the target area disappears as we move into Galaxy Season in earnest.
