Description

Time-lapse animation created from 128recordings between 11:15 and 12:21UT on February 18th 2023. Each recording was 25 seconds long with a framerate of 46fps (1150 frames) and a 5 seconds delay between each recording. The recordings where made using a StellaMira 80mm f/10, Coronado 90mm front filter / BF15, and a ZWO ASI 183MM camera. Everything was mounted on a Sky-Watcher SolarQuest AltAz mount.

The best (sharpest 10%) 115 frames from each recording was stacked in AutoStakkert!3 before they were aligned and sharpened in ImPPG.

The animation created in PIPP at 15fps effectively compressing the 64 minutes of duration down to just 4 seconds.

The field rotation caused by recording being made in AltAz mode.
