Description

I want to demonstrate my final ISS before a serious revision of the mount brains.
A rockchip rock5b-based hardware grabber was used for shooting, I called the device a "Smart Camera":

In short, this is a single-board PC with the ability to record a window with an object at maximum fps ROI, output an improved real-time image and detect the type of object based on AI.
Powered by 12V (peak load 15W), working with PlayerOne cameras, all control via LCD touch screen.
Interestingly, on the ARM single-board it was possible to get even more fps with the ROI movement of the window than in Windows.
The frame without a crop is as it is when recording - the ISS touches the edges with panels.
The span was quite high (about 78 degrees), the monty held it to about 73 degrees.
The Aurora borealis was observed in Taganrog 20 minutes before the flight! (I had never observed this phenomenon before.)

Shooting parameters:
05/11/2024 2:22 the height is about 70deg, the sharpest piece of the span. Seeing 4/10.
The LX200 MadMax mount. Meade ACF Tube 16" f/10 Automated Focuser myFP2 + Baader ir-cut
 + Barlow overclocking 1.39x + automated eADC + playerOne imx585 + rock5b.
190fps 720x640, 16raw, shutter speed 1.46ms, gain 307 [30, 0, 785], ( filling gist. 70%).
Addition of 15% of 200 frames in AS!4, PixInsight, 125%.
(pixel scale of the original ~0.105”/pixel).

ps. it is also planned to integrate a powerful single board into the brain of the mount and completely get rid of the laptop and extra cords when shooting.
