      Description

Thank you Mike Selby for the amazing data!

This is a special galaxy for me, not just because it is unusual, but also the incredible number and variety of the background galaxies!
NGC4753 is an unusual lenticular galaxy 60 million light years away in the constellation Virgo, the galaxy is smooth and nearly elliptical, the irregular dust lanes are not common. There is a theory that the dust filaments are the shredded remains of a small spiral galaxy.

The dust lanes were brought out in the Lum with HDR. The Lum was treated with BXT with the PSF measured and I used BXT preview to fine tune the stars and the details on the dust lanes. I found that CUDA was essential to get a decent preview working.
The Lum was stretched separately to bring out both the background and the elliptical galaxy and blended to get the final Lum.
SPCC was used to color calibrate the image.
