Description

The image shows the Heart Nebula IC 1805 and the Soul Nebula IC1848 and a lot of other objects in their surroundings in the constellation Cassiopeia.
I admit, these two have certainly been photographed as many times as Neuschwanstein Castle. But on my list was still missing a group shot of the two with a bit of their surroundings. The decision to build 2-panel HSO composite stood on thin legs. Because of the bad local weathers, it was just enough for a total of about 10 hours of light from my Bortle 5 balcony. For the easten panel with the Soul Nebula I only had 3.6 hours uf usable data and about double the time for the western panel.

The background coloring is a modified HSO palette, the stars were built from Ha and OIII data.
