Description

NGC 604 is a huge star forming region in the galaxy M 33. With a diameter of about 1500 light years, NGC 604 is one of the largest collections of ionized hydrogen and oxygen in our local supergroup of galaxies. From our perspective, however, NGC 604 has an extent of just under 2' x 2'. 

The image is a crop of my image of my latest M 33 image. A drizzle factor of 2 was applied during data integration.

ASI 2600 mm-pro and TS Photoline 130/910 mm with TSRED 379 Reducer.
