Description

Just over 8 hours on this target now with a mixture of 120 and 300 sec subs.
Captured from my home in a Bortle 5 area on the south coast of UK.
The Rosette Nebula is also known as Caldwell 49 and is near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way.
It is about 5000 light years from us and about 130 light years wide. It fills my field of view with my current set up.
