Caught a break in the weather, on new moon, at peak Rho Ophiuchi season! Pretty lucky break for the PNW. I've been fascinated with this target and trying to image it for a few years now, but it's never really worked out for some reason or another. Finally got a good shot at it this night. With all those things lining up, of course at least one thing had to go awry - we had pretty sustained 10-15 mph winds with a few gusts here and there. Definitely noticeable when you zoom in on the image, but still pretty pleased! And to top it off, I had forgotten to charge my battery... Luckily (although not for him... sorry) a generator became available and we could do a hot-swap mid imaging session to allow this image to actually happen!
There's a weird artifact in my L, R, and G images... not quite sure what it is... aliens?
