Description

This is a 45% stack of 209 frames taken from Iluka, Western Australia on 2 October 2022. The image is slightly cropped and was taken with the 9.25 EHD paired with the ASI 294 mc pro at full scope focal length. This is the area most well-known for the Apollo 11 Moon Landing but this is also the landing areas for Apollo 15, 16 and 17. The various features visible include the Mares (oceans or seas) :

Crisium, Tranquillitatis, Serenitatis, Fecunditatis and Nectaris
