Description

In a deal with my wife, she got a new Canon Full Frame camera for her nature photography and I got a new telescope to replace my trusty Stellarvue SV102 Access.  The SV102 Access was a great doublet, FPL53 102MM telescope.  I had put off buying a "true" apochromatic telescope because I was pretty happy with the images from the SV102.  After creating a spreadsheet with about 10 different telescopes, looking at weight, image scale with my cameras and several other factors, I finally decided on the ZWO FF107MM, (i.e. an Askar 107PHQ in costume).  In its first week of imaging, I am quite pleased so far.  I had some misshapen stars in the corners (with pixel peeping) with my SV102, but the stars all seem nice and round, and pretty much free of CA with the FF107.
