Description

The Lagoon Nebula is located in the constellation of Sagittarius and is spectacular. If you have a 24mm or 135mm lens give this a go as the surrounding dust, density of stars all make for an exceptional framing. I took this from my backyard where my SQM measured at 18.30 near the Austin area. The beautiful nebula was discovered in 1654 by Italian astronomer Giovanni Hodierna and is a magnitude 6! Details :
