Description

I was spurred on to have another go at my data from 8 Dec 2022 after seeing a great image of the occultation recently.  I collected hundreds of GB of data but used only one video from just before 5am as Mars approached and then passed behind the moon.
I had to stack Mars and the moon separately in AS!3 to avoid artefacts and then aligned them manually, using a single frame from the video at this precise point of occultation.
Quite fun to do some planetary/lunar for a change - and to see how I must have learnt something in the past year or so to now be able to produce an image.

And this was from the front garden for a change, as I couldn't see it from the back garden.

Title: Mars only, from 5 mins before occultation

Description: Best 1% of a 25k video captured in FireCapture, stacked in AS!3, 1.5x drizzled (this came out better than no drizzle and 1% came out better than 2, 5 or 10% - that's Yorkshire seeing for ya!).
