Description

Dear all,

I did a lens test on a tripod just straight out of my window to get an idea of the lens performance for winter time. I think it looks very good if you stop down to 2.8. See for that also my addtional 1.4 upload which shows angel like shapes in the corners. Other stops between 1.4 and 2.8 do not really have an positive effect. It is only one single shot, so no stacking. I had to reduce the resolution from 72pix/inch to 50pix/inch due to file zise. I did the following things for development:

Pixinsight:
Automatic Background Extractor
Background Neutralization
Colour Calibration
SCNR Green 100 % remoove
Stretch
Curves Transformation

I hope that might help someone of you if you are looking for narrower fild.

Yours Philipp
