Description

Reworked version of data that I collected back in 2022
Total integration time 27 hours, of which 11 hours L and 4.7 hrs Ha

NGC 4395 is a low surface brightness galaxy in the constellatioin Canes Venatici. It is situated about 14 million light years from us.
The main emission nebulae in this galaxy have their own entries in the New General Catalogue; ngc 4399, ngc 4400, and ngc 4401.
The long integration time allowed me to reveal quite a few very distant galaxies around ngc 4395. Some of these have a redshift larger than 0.5, which puts them at a n incredible Hubble distance of 6.5 - 7 billion light years.
