Description

This is a full Solar Disc composite image using two sets of stacked images. One stack captured the Suns surface detail, the other greatly overexposed stack captured the limb Prominences.  Each set used 350 SER files with an exposure of 3.25ms and a gain of 120 for the surface and 290 for the limb. 30 Flat images were stacked and used with the Surface Stack. The images were captured on 8 October from Iluka in Western Australia between large cloud masses - the seeing was poor.

The ZWO 290MM camera was set for Bin 2 and the frame size was 4232x4232.
