Description

Last night was as good as it gets from my backyard. Seeing throughout the night was between 1.9 and 2.2 arc sec, no wind, and new moon. I had gotten both my Edge 9.25 out finishing up work on M104 and M109. I was able to capture 40 4 min subs subs on the rho Ophiuchus complex and 40 2 min subs on the Sagittarius star cloud with my ASiI 294 MC with the 135 mm rokinon lens.

After I got all done, I decided to set my T5i on a tripod and take untracked 35 second wide angles from the backyard. The highlight for me is all the lightning bugs in the foreground in the yard. We spent 45 mins catching them with the boys before setting up the scopes earlier in the evening.
