Description

Picture Details:  Dumbbell Nebula (aka the Apple Core Nebula) (M27/NGC6853) is a planetary nebula in the constellation Vulpecula.  The nebula is ~1360 light years from Earth and is the first nebula discovered by Charles Messier (in 1764).

ZWO ASI2600MC Pro; Camera cooled to -10 deg C, with ZWO Duo-Band Narrowband Light Pollution Reduction Filter
