Description

LDN1217 is a dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus. This nebua is known as a Bok globule and the blue reflection nebula is vdB 152. Data is a combination from a Bortle 2 site in Westcliffe, CO obtained by gmadkat and Randy Garrett traveling, and blended with data from Brandon Lewis in Virginia.Processed by gmadkat
This has to be one of the most challenging images I ever processed!

There is just so much happening in this data that all my attempts looked a mess! I finally ended up with this version, and will likely try to improve on it, but it at least did not make me wince!
