Description

This is my first planetary imaging attempt. It’s certainly different and I think more difficult than DSO imaging.. Thanks to the Youtubers who have given their time to post workflows because I have no idea what I’m doing!! LOL

I used Firecapture, then AutoStakkert for stacking, then finally sharpend and denoise with Registax. I certainly welcome any critiques that might improve my attempts. I did not use an ADC but Mars was at 58.8 degrees so I didn’t think it was too necessary. The ASI224MC is awesome but I do think a mono camera would be a big improvement. I ended up stacking 25% of the best frames.

Skies were clear but unfortunately seeing conditions were average at best!
